Vinita Nair
She joined ABC News in July of 2004 and has been a reporter on a range of issues, including Jon Benet Ramsey's investigation, Jon Benet Ramsey investigation, as well as school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair began working for ABC News as an anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now in December 2007. In her new role she anchors live news stories and briefs for ABC's digital channel. Nair also co-anchored World News Now on ABC starting on September 17, 2008. until January 18, 2011 and America This Morning. The show was hosted by Jeremy Hubbard and later Rob Nelson for both of the shows. On the 17th of February, 2011, Nair revealed that Friday February 18 would be her final evening on air for World News Now. Also, it would be her final day on ABC News. Peggy Bunker from KDVR Denver was immediately her successor. The February 18 edition of World News Now paid tribute to Nair in all three segments. They also had appearances from former and present colleagues including Jeremy Hubbard. Nair treated her crew to an excellent breakfast at the end of her day.
